We were so excited to meet the newest member of room 40, Biraj!

We spent some our or morning getting to know him, and sharing some information about ourselves! 

We learned that he likes reading and writing, he loves all colors, and he loves spaghetti with onions and ketchup!

Room 40 Gets SpoOoOOky!

Today we discussed the meaning of symmetry! We learned that when something is symmetrical, it has identical parts that mirror each other. We showed our learning by creating symmetrical pumpkins. See if you can guess who made these Jack-o-Lanterns!

After we finished, our room mom, Mrs. Turnbough, helped us add them to our garden to turn it into a pumpkin patch! Doesn't it look great?

Buddies!

Last Thursday third grade we had the opportunity to meet our kindergarten buddies! Together we determined which life events were within our control or not. We talked about being proactive in our own lives and how we were in charge of our actions and thoughts.

Rams Spirit Day!

Today we had an assembly to celebrate Kids Play 60! Play 60 is a program sponsored by the NFL to promote everyday  physical activity. Today we took the pledge to play outside for 60 minutes each day!  Here's a look at our assembly fun!

We have been asking questions to find more out about composting! Today we had the opportunity to research our questions today to learn more about the composting! We used search engines, looked at power points, watched videos, and read books!
