Educational Background:
I spent my childhood growing up in the Sappington area, and actually attended Lindbergh High School! Directly after graduating high school, I went to the University of Missouri- Columbia for my undergraduate and received a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Elementary.
My senior year of college, I returned home to complete my student teaching at Sappington in Deanna Folluo's fifth grade classroom. I fell in love with the Sappington community and was thrilled when Dr. Hamby asked me to teach third grade the following year.
During my first year of teaching, I was a member of the University of Missouri's Fellowship Program, and obtained my Master's Degree in July of 2014.
Favorites:
Hobbies: I love running, doing arts and crafts, reading, cooking, and gardening
Stores: Some of my favorite stores include Target, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, and Marshalls
Restaurants: I love trying out new restaurants with my family and friends. I try to go to someplace new every time I eat out, but when in doubt I love Chipotle, Crazy Bowls and Wraps, The Daily Bread, and Bread Co.
Food: Anything that is spicy, avocados, and cheese
